James Gregory, Jr. , 78 years old, of 3900 Kincaid East NW, Warren OH, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2009, at his residence. He was born November 20, 1931 in McRoberts, KY the son of the late James A. Gregory and the late Fannie Wilfong Gregory. James married Marie E. West on March 16, 1953 who preceded him in death May 15, 2009.

He was a graduate of Neon High School, and retired from Republic Steel after over 40 years as a grinder in roll shop.

He was a veteran, having served in the Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Germany.

James was a member of General Assembly Church of God- Newton Falls where he was a deacon. He enjoyed time with his family & grandchildren.

Surviving are Son, James R. (Jayne) Gregory of Bazetta Township, OH, Granddaughters, Rebecca & Sarah Gregory, Grandson, Christopher Gregory, Sister, Dorothy Johnston of Nicholasville, KY, Brother, Donald Gregory of Lexington, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 4 brothers & 1 sister.

Services will be held at General Assembly Church of God in Newton Falls on Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at 11:00 AM. Pastor Mitch Meadors will officiate. Friends may call 10-11 AM Tuesday 12/1/2009 @ the church.

Interment will be in Pine Knoll Cemetery.
