Obituary:

Adrian J. Fauvie, 79 years old, of Southington, Ohio, died Sunday, November 29, 2009 at 9:15 PM at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.

 

He was born November 14, 1930 in Warren, the son of the late Adrian and Eugenia Romanville Fauvie.

 

Adrian was a 1948 graduate of Chalker High School and worked for North American Rockwell and then retired from Alcan Aluminum after a combined service of more than 43 years, retiring in 1996 as a Journeyman Millwright.

 

He was a US Army Veteran of Korea.

 

AJ was a member of the Bristolville Church of the Brethren and the Southington American Legion, he loved to watch television, cook and racing sulky horses.

 

Survivors include his wife, the former Alberta May Jones, whom he married on August 11, 1951; two sons, Ronald (Lisa) Fauvie and Adrian A. (Kimberly) Fauvie all of Southington; two granddaughters, Rebecca Fauvie of Macomb, IL and Lauren Fauvie of Southington.

 

Other than his parents, Adrian was preceded in death by his daughter, Valerie Elise Fauvie.

 

Funeral services will be held at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 3, 2009, where family and friends may visit from 5-8 PM on Wednesday, December 2, 2009. Pastor Frederick M. Keener will officiate the service.

 

Interment will be in Southington Reformed Cemetery.
