Obituary:

     Betty J. Ritter, 66, died Thursday, December 10, 2009 at her residence. She was born January 24, 1943 in Chambersburg, PA, a daughter of the late Frank Grooms and the late Bullah Luket Grooms.

 

      Betty worked for Sunrise Inn for 15 years.

 

      Betty is survived by her sons, Fred Ritter of Warren, OH, Charlie Ritter of Warren, OH, and Glenn Ritter of Warren, OH; daughter, Lana Ritter of Warren, OH; brothers, George Grooms of Chambersburg, PA, Lee Grooms of Chambersburg, PA, and Roger Grooms of Chambersburg, PA; also 8 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Charles Ritter, who passed away February 4, 2009, a son- Robert Ritter Sr., and 3 brothers.

 

      Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 14, 2009 at Champion Township Cemetery, where Rev. Elly Krokenberger will officiate. Friend may call from 12:30 to 1:00 PM at the cemetery.
