Gladys R. Helmick, 84, died Thursday, December 10, 2009 at Gracewood Senior Living in Niles. She was born January 21, 1925 in Connellsville, PA, a daughter of the late William Warman and the late Rosella Stewart Warman.

Gladys is survived by her daughters, Patricia (David) Conley of Champion, OH and Carol Nichols of Cortland, OH; sons, Alvie Keffer, Jr. of Niles, OH and Donald (Roxana) Keffer, Sr. of North Bloomfield, OH; step-sons, David (Joan) Helmick of Cleveland, OH and Bernard Eugene (Jenny) Helmick of Niles, OH; 17 grandchildren & 14 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Edward H. Helmick, whom she married on January 12, 1962 and passed away December 31, 2006, a son, Harry E. Warman, step-son, Edward Alan Helmick, 2 brothers, Robert & William Warman, 3 sisters, Dorothy Burley, Grace Shomer, & Mary Bowdish & 2 granddaughters, Tina Roberts & Dawn Keffer.

Services will be held for Gladys at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 14, 2009 at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Rev. Woody Cavender will officiate. Friends may call from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Sunday, December 13. Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Park in Warren, Ohio.
