Josetta Marie Robinson-Logan 59 died, Sunday, December 13, 2009, at St. Joseph Medical Center. She was born August 24, 1950 in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of James Hayes Robinson Sr. and Grace Horn.
Josetta was employed as a laborer working for the Laborers International Union of North America Local #935 in Warren, Ohio. She was a member of New Freedom Missionary Baptist Church on Tod Ave. in Warren, OH. She enjoyed reading novels, or anything in print form, Vin Disel & Star Trek Movies, Stephen King, traveling with her favorite pillow & enjoying time with family.
Josetta is survived by former husbands, George Logan & Jerry Day, father, James Hayes Robinson, Sr., step-father, Roosevelt White, mother, Grace Roteen Robinson-White, uncle, Lincoln Horn, sons: Jay Lee (Mamie) Day, G. William (Amira) Logan, daughters: Tamara (Marcial) Logan-Davis, La'Tania Logan, step-sons: David (Renee) Logan, Charles "Chucky" (Melissa) Halloway, Vincent (Cherly) Logan, 27 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers: James (Virginia) Robinson Jr., Richard Robinson, sisters: Cynthia Wade, Patricia (Gordon) Maple and sister-in-law, Ushi Robinson. She was preceded in death by a brother Zedeus Robinson and 2 godsons: Timothy Redd & Edward Henderson.
Funeral Services will be held at the New Freedom Missionary Baptist Church, 1590 Tod Ave. SW, Warren, Ohio 44485 at 10:00 AM Saturday December 19, 2009. Friends may call 1 hour prior to services @ the church. Pastor Robert Stringer will be officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of Josetta's daughter Tamara, 1745 Burton St., following the reception at the church.
