Evelyn Marie Manna, age 80, of Niles, Ohio, died Sunday, December 27, 2009 at 2:15 AM at the Shepherd of the Valley in Niles.

She was born November 10, 1929 in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of the late Francis and Dorothy Daniels Prentice.

Evelyn was a retired laborer from Packard Electric in 1988 after 30 years of service. Mrs. Manna liked to travel and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her three sons, Donald J. (Candy) Prentice of Johnston, Richard C. (Eileen) Manna of Austintown and David J. (companion, Pam Joseph) Manna of Niles; six grandchildren, Brian, Scott, Steven, Jeffery, Matthew and Alexandria; four great-grandchildren, Alexis, Haylee, Bryan and Brittany; one sister, Madelyn (Edward) Sasala of Leavittsburg.

Other than her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Manna, Jr. on September 12, 1992 and one sister, Kathryn Thompson.

Family and friends may gather from 1-3 and 7-9 PM on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.

The funeral service will take place on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Pastor James Dittmar will officiate the service and burial will take place in the Pineview Memorial Park, Warren, Ohio.
