Dorothy M. Wolfe, 92 years old, of Southington, formerly of Washington Court House, Ohio, died Monday, January 4, 2010 at 11:33 PM at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren.
She was born February 14, 1917 in Madison Mills, Ohio, the daughter of the late William and Alice Clagg Birchfield.
Dorothy had worked as a Nurses Aid at the Brookfield County Nursing Home. She was a member of the Blue Star Mothers, Past President of the Tenants Association at the Tod Ave. High Rise in Warren and enjoyed playing bingo and trips to Mountaineer Park In West Virginia. She spent the last few years living with her daughter and her husband, Pam and Larry Weber. She enjoyed being back out in the country again. She enjoyed the summer visits from her niece, Janice, from Texas. Dorothy worked hard all her life and helped many people. She will be missed by her family and many friends who loved her.
She is survived by two sons, Victor Wolfe of Lordstown and Ted (Linda) Wolfe of Thornton, CO; two daughters, Pamela (Larry) Weber of Southington and Beverly (Larry) Frabota of Palmetto, FL;a stepson, Gerald (Betty) Wolfe of Chillicothe; a stepdaughter, Barbara Tankersly of Springfield, OH. Also surviving are three sisters, Hazel (Ben) Cox of Peebles, Ohio, Ersel (Tom) Baldwin of Marysville, OH, and Annalee Kelly of Oh.; 24 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore L. Wolfe on March 11, 1970, they were married on November 12, 1938; one son, Theodore W. Wolfe, one daughter, Shirley Neal, one stepson, Roger Wolfe; one stepdaughter, Marilyn Walace; three brothers, Charles, William and Lewis and three sisters, Dora, Faith, and Marie.
Family and friends may visit from 10 - 11 AM, Friday, January 8, 2010 at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place at 11 AM. Burial will be in the Champion Twp. Cemetery.
