Donald W. Dickerson, 75, of Warren, died Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at Autumn Hills Care Center. He was born September 15, 1934 in Seelyville, IN a son of the late Wayne R. Dickerson and the late Lucille (Tomboeken) Dickerson.

He was a graduate of Brookfield High School and was employed at Ohio Edison, Niles Power Plant for 35 years and retired in 1992 as a shift supervisior. He was a veteran of the Army. Donald enjoyed making beef jerkey for his friends.

Surviving are his wife, Harriett L. (McDonald) Dickerson, whom he married February 24, 1961; son, David W. Dickerson of Warren, OH; sister, Betty Dickerson of Brookfield, OH; brother, Jerry Dickerson of Brookfield, OH; sister-in-law, Patricia Reihard of Mineral Ridge, OH; nephew, Terry Reihard of Mineral Ridge, OH, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, John Michael Dickerson, an infant brother, George Dickerson, and a niece, Cathy Reihard Tenney.

Per Donald's wishes, there will not be any services or calling hours. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
