Obituary:

Charlotte J.  Lynn  82, of Southington, died, Monday, January 11, 2010 at the Windsor House in Champion. .  She was born, March 4, 1927, in Mecca, Ohio,  a daughter of  the late John and Leah Harris Armstrong Sr. 

 

Charlotte was a homemaker, she enjoyed baking, cooking, flower gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She had also worked at the GE Lamp plant in Warren for 35 years.

 

Charlotte is survived by, Daughters; Pamela (Gary) Thompson of Champion, Diana (John) Stout Sr. of Leavittsburg, and Penny (Joseph) Szitas of Southington, Ohio,  7 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are Sisters: Ila Harvy, Leah Phillips, Sharon Woods, Joan Mellish, Pauline Postlewaite and Joyce Guinaugh, Brothers; Willard "Bill" Armstrong and Paul Armstong.  Preceding her in death were,her husband Alvin Lynn in May of 1984, whom she married February 21, 1947, 5 sisters; Jewel Craven, Doris Knapp, Clara Webb, Barbara Litz and Lorraine Perkins, 2 brothers; Charles Armstrong and John Armstrong Jr. and a great grandson..

 

There will be a graveside service at the Southington Reformed Cemetery-Chapel, 1:00PM Wednesday January 13, 2010. There are no calling hours.
