Paula J. Lapaze-Ficke 60 died, Thursday, January 14, 2010 at, St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born, July 4, 1949, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Paul T. Lapaze and Dora (Montanero) Lapaze.

Paula retired from Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield after 30 years.

In addition to her husband, Donald M. Ficke whom she married March 5, 2004, she is survived by two sisters, Alice Baker of Struthers and Mary Grosson of Youngstown and 2 Nieces. Preceding her in death were her parents and 2 brothers.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Carl W. Hall Funeral Home with calling hours 5:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday, 01-19-2010 where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 P.M. Pastor James Dittmar will officiate.
