Juan P. Fernandez, 95, of Warren died Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Community Skilled Health Care Centre. He was born October 14, 1914 in Quintana De La Serena, Spain, a son of the late Amalio Fernandez and the late Isabelle Ruiz Fernandez.

He worked as a tool grinder at Copperweld Steel Corporation. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and cooking.

Surviving are his sons, Amalio Fernandez of Warren, Ohio and Nicholas (Nancy) Fernandez of Warren, Ohio, granddaughters, Tanya (Jamie) Mote and Nicolette (Larry) Hoffman, and 5 great grandchildren- Chelsie Sowers, Brooke Hoffman, Raegan Hoffman, Katelin Mote, and Kevin Mote. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mildred, who preceded him in death on September 25, 1978, two brothers and three sisters.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 1, 2010 at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where David Robert Black, Pastor will officiate. Friends may call on Sunday, January 31, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, and also 1 hour prior to service. Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery.
