Obituary:

Ruth E.  Talanca 84 died, Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Windsor House of Champion.  She was born, May 12, 1925, in New Castle,PA,  a daughter of  the late Edwin and Evangeline (Henry) McCreary.

 

Ruth had worked for the Y.W.C.A. as a receptionist.  She was a member of Southington United Methodist Church and an avid Cleveland Indians Fan.

 

Ruth is survived by, 2 daughters, Brenda Goswick of Southington and Dinny and "Bill" Barnes of Huntsville, TX, one grandson, Harold L. Chesshir III and family of Huntsville, TX,  In addition to her husband, Patsy Talanca who died in 1984, she is preceded in death by both parents, a brother Edwin "Ted" McCreary and a Special Aunt, Dolly Miller.

 

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Carl W. Hall Funeral Home where friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday, February 05, 2010.  Rev. John Wolfe will officiate her funeral at 1:30 P.M. Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the funeral home with burial immediatly following at Crown Hill Burial Park, Vienna, Ohio
