Davit B. Steele, 48 years old, of 2904 Anderson Morris Road, Niles Ohio, died, Sunday, March 7, 2010, at the Cleveland Clinic after an extended illness. He was born November 16, 1961 in Warren, a son of Noel C. and Laura R. (Pruitt) Steele.

Davit was a Registered Nurse and formerly a Director of the Appalachian Service Project. He enjoyed working outdoors and was an avid fan of Ohio State and all Cleveland sports teams. He was devoted and loved his dog Chase and his two cats Albert and Brutus.

He leaves behind his wife, Deborah Steele of Niles whom he married August 22, 1997. He is survived by his father, Noel C. Steele of The Villages, Florida, his sisters; Susan E. (Bruce) Wilson of Warren and Patricia L. (Larry) Nichols of Stow, 7 nephews and 9 nieces, 8 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Steele and his brothers, Michael L. and Steven W. Steele.

Carl W. Hall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements where the family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, March 11, 2010. Those attending, feel free to wear O-H-I-O State apparel.
