Francis L. Harris age 85 entered into eternal life on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Trumbull Regional Health Center surrounded by family and friends after a short illness due to complications from a recurrence of lymphoma.

Francis was employed for 31 years at Copperweld Steel Corporation as a millwright retiring in 1987. Many friends and family will remember Francis for his fondness of playing the lottery and horse racing. Besides gardening and canning vegetables, Francis also enjoyed hunting deer, rabbit, squirrel, turkey, and fishing; in younger years he bowled and loved playing cards. His TV watching favorites included old westerns and war movies as well as following Cleveland Indians and Browns. Francis enjoyed his quiet time playing solitaire, looking at coins, and feeding the squirrels and birds.
Francis was preceded in death in 1992 by both his loving and devoted wife of 40 years, Josephine Cutright Harris and also his eldest daughter Terry Lynn Harris Teuscher.
Left to carry his memory will be his friend Donna Long. Francis will be deeply missed by his two children both of Champion son Edward Lee Harris and daughter Mary Ann Dorsey (John); three grandchildren Richard C. Teuscher (Vanessa) of Champion, Amy Bhargava (Sanjay) of Broadview Heights, Ohio, and Adam Harris of Austin, Texas; and four Great Grandchildren Kylie and Mary Katherine Teuscher, and Aleyna Bickel and Anthony Corbisello.
