Obituary

Karl F. Casterline, Sr., 77, of Warren, OH passed away Sunday, May 11, 2015, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital. He was born March 30, 1938 in Southington, OH, the son of the late Luzern and Dorothy (Never) Casterline. He married Carol Iler on October 24, 1975, and they have shared 39 years together.

He was a 1956 graduate of Chalker High School and retired as a steelworker with Copperweld Steel Corp. after 30 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Karl enjoyed woodworking, playing cards, nature and especially liked feeding the animals around his home.

Karl's memory will be carried on by his wife, Carol J. Casterline of Warren, OH; three sons, Randy (Teri) Casterline of Warren, OH, Danny (Teresa) Casterline of Newton Falls, OH and Karl Casterline, Jr. of Warren, OH; a step-son, Brian (Teri) Montgomery of Webberville, MI; a brother, Earl Casterline of Warren, OH; sister, Mary (Gene) Hedden of Latrobe, PA; his grandchildren, Dani Lynn, Kelly, Desirae, Heather, Randy Jr. and Levi; and three great grandsons, Dillon, Eli and Emmett. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Alvin and Paul Casterline.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Pastor Jim Dittmar will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home. Interment will be in Southington Reformed Cemetery, Southington, OH.
