Stanley C. Davis, 80, passed away on Monday March 4, 2019 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital following a five year battle with cancer. Stanley was born May 1, 1938 in Buchannon, WV; a son of the late Carlton and Ruth (Hamrick) Davis.

He married Mary Ann Hedrick on April 20, 1963. They shared 55 years of marriage, and raised two children; Diann (Davis) Biasiotta and James Davis.

Stan was a 1956 graduate of Southeast High School in Ravenna, Ohio. He loved playing football and being involved with the school yearbook and photography. He served in the Ohio National Guard for four years. Stan was the co-owner of Warren Armature Works in Warren along with Bruce Stroup for 43 years. He was a devoted Burbank baseball coach and a lifetime Warren Raider fan.

After his retirement Stan enjoyed traveling. He traveled overseas to the country of Belgium and to the state of Wisconsin to cheer at many soccer, basketball and other miscellaneous events for his grandchildren. He thoroughly enjoyed playing golf, bowling, and soaking up the Florida sun! He was a true fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Cavs, Browns, and Indians. He will always be remembered for his garden full of green beans and his favorite blue tractor. He also continued to “fix things” while working part time with Garland Randell and Ron Wolf. And we all know that if he couldn’t fix it he would “MacGyver” it!

He leaves his memory and spirit with his wife Mary Ann; two children, Diann (Bruno) Biasiotta and James (Jennifer) Davis. Three grandchildren; Gabriella, Nicholas, and Anthony. Siblings; Ronald (Jean) Davis, Marge Leibal, and Larry (Jude) Davis along with many loved nieces and nephews.

We will always carry the memory of his virtue and positive outlook in our hearts and thoughts forever!

Funeral services will be held at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home Saturday March 9th at 11AM. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday evening March 8th from 5-7PM and Saturday morning the 9th from 10-11AM.
