D. Jean Williams, 78, of Bristolville, OH went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday November 14, 2014 at St. Joseph Health Center. A daughter of the late Henry "Ed" and Gladys (Cross) Shepherd, she was born April 1, 1936 in Warren, OH. On April 1, 1956 she married Vincent Williams, with whom she spent 58 wonderful years of marriage.

She was a member of West Farmington High School class of 1954, and was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker.

Jean was a member of the Bristolville United Methodist Church, Bristol Mother's OCCL, United Methodist Womans group, served as the secretary of the Farmington Alumni Association, volunteered as a Board of Elections poll worker, was a Deputy- Registrar for the BMV, Avon representative, Eastern Star Worthy Matron, and a Girl Scout Leader. Jean also worked at the local nursing home, was an Amish taxi driver for 30 years and volunteered at the AWL Menagerie. She was an avid Cleveland Indians fan with her "Wahoo Gang", enjoyed bowling, playing cards, traveling, baking, cake decorating, puzzles, reading, crafts, ceramics, going to family reunions in Kentucky and Ohio, was the family genealogist and was well known for her annual garage sales. Most of all she loved her family and the time she spent with them.

She is survived by her husband, Vincent Williams, two daughters Dawn (John) Dunn, Darilee (Terry) Devereaux, and one son David (Susie) Williams. Jean also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, her aunt Wilma Richmond, several nieces and nephews, and a host of her children's friends who called her mom and grandma. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Beverly Shepherd and Karen Lee Shepherd-Blair.

Services will be held at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home on Tuesday November 18, 2014 at 7:00 PM, where Pastor Shirley Frantz will officiate. Friends may call from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday November 18, 2014 at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home. A burial of ashes will take place at West Farmington Hillside Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to either the Bristol Volunteer Fire Department or the Bristolville United Methodist Church.
