Obituary

Denny L. Taylor, 69, of Leavittsburg, OH passed away Friday, April 5, 2019, at Select Specialty Hospital.

He was born September 8, 1949, in Widen, WV, a son of the late Andrew F. and Bertha (Phares) Taylor.

Denny graduated from Leavittsburg High School and went on to serve two years active and seven years as a reservist with the US Army. He retired from Predator Trucking Inc. after twenty years of driving truck. His memberships include the American Legion Leavittsburg Post, Cortland Moose Lodge, Trumbull Boat Club and the Kinsman Conservation Club. Denny volunteered with the Red Cross as a damage assessor and he loved to hunt and fish.

Surviving are his companion of fifteen years, Candace Newell of Leavittsburg; a son, Victor Roddy of Dallas, TX; three step-daughters, Fay Eisenbraun of Darlington, SC, Lisa Redick of Dallas, TX and Darcie Roddy of Atlanta, GA; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Mary Fritts of Melbourne, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and nine sisters.

Memorial services will be officiated by Denny's niece, Chaplin Loretta Kish at 5:00PM on Monday, April 8th 2019 at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home. Friends may call from 4:00PM to 5:00PM on April 8th, 2019 at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.

The family requests that material contributions be made to the American Red Cross at 3530 Belmont Ave #7, Youngstown, OH 44505 and the Second Brigade, in lieu of flowers.
