Dorothy A. Thirion Stuber, 95, of Champion, OH passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at Windsor House in Champion.

She was born September 13, 1923, in Bucyrus, OH, the daughter of the late Charles Ernest and Alice Beulah (Whiteley) Clime.

On June 3, 1942, Dorothy married Edward J. Thirion. They shared 47 years of marriage and many wonderful memories.

She was a 1941 graduate of Leavittsburg High School and was employed as a clerk at Trumbull County Public Library for 25 years. Dorothy and Edward were founding members of Church of the Good Shepherd which became Covenant Presbyterian Church and sang in the Church choir since 1957. She was a member of Christians Women Club, SCOPE, and the YWCA. Dorothy enjoyed walking, swimming, camping, traveling, reading and singing especially old children's songs with her kids and grandkids.

She is survived by her son, William (Cindy) Thirion of Champion, OH; two stepchildren; grandchildren, David Thirion, Kellie Cleland, Bethany Culp and John Minnick; great-grandchildren, Melinda, Drake, Samantha, Emma, Lillie, Samantha, Alyssa, Macie and Marina; brother, James Clime of Champion, OH; sister, Helen Clime of Champion, OH; and son-in-law, Bruce Minnick.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward J. Thirion; second husband, Albert Stuber; daughter, Virginia Lee Minnick; and infant daughter, Barbara Jean Thirion.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Covenant Presbyterian Church, where Pastor David R. Black will officiate.

Friends may call from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, February 8, 2019, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

Interment will be in Pineview Memorial Park, Warren, OH.
